Pepperoni Pizza Dip with Breadstick Dippers

Is Friday night Pizza Night at your house?  How about adding a little twist to your weekly tradition?  I present to you a Crock-Pot® Pepperoni Pizza Dip with Breadstick Dippers, from my beloved and sometimes ancient cookbook collection…generally the older the recipe, the better.  However, this recipe is from around 2008, so not quite so ancient.  However, if you are looking to recycle some old cookbooks, please reach out to me via Instagram or Twitter, thank you.



14 Ounces Classico Pizza Sauce

¾ Cup Hormel Pepperoni, chopped

4 Green Onions, chopped

1 Can Lindsay Black Olives, sliced

½ tsp Savory Spice Shop Oregano, dried

4 Ounces (1 Cup) Mozzarella Cheese, shredded

3 Ounces Philadelphia Cream Cheese, softened

FIRST Combine Pizza Sauce, Pepperoni, Green Onions, Olives and Oregano in a 2-quart Crock-Pot®

SECOND Cook covered on Low for 2 hours OR on High for 1 – 1 ½ hours until mixture is hot; I prefer to cook for a longer amount of time at a lower setting, but that’s just a personal preference…

THIRD Stir in Mozzarella and Cream Cheese until melted and well blended

Serve with warm Breadstick Dippers



1 Package Refrigerated Pillsbury Breadstick Dough

2 tsp Kerrygold Butter, melted

2 tsp Savory Spice Shop Parsley, minced

FIRST Bake Breadstick Dough according to package directions

SECOND Brush with melted Butter

THIRD Sprinkle with Parsley

Serve with warm Pizza Dip
