Pork Chops with Corn Dressing

Pork Chops with Corn Dressing

Today seems like a great day for Pork Chops with Corn Dressing ~ a nice little dish you can bake as a casserole and enjoy with your favorite gravy.

4 Cups Soft Bread Crumbs (white bread with crust removed)

1 Tbsp Onion, chopped

½ Cup Celery, minced

2 Tbsp Kerrygold Butter

1 Cup Whole Kernel Corn, drained

1 Cup Swanson Chicken Stock

6 Thick Pork Chops

Dash of Salt

Use any seasoning(s) you see fit - be creative

FIRST Cook Onion and Celery in Butter until tender, but do not brown

SECOND Add the Bread Crumbs with Salt and/or Seasoning(s), Corn and Stock

THIRD Mix thoroughly and press into a well buttered casserole dish

FOURTH Brown seasoned Pork Chops on each side

FIFTH Arrange over dressing in casserole dish

SIXTH Cover dish and bake in a moderate oven – 350 F – for about 45 minutes

SEVENTH Remove cover, increase oven temperature – approximately 375 to 400 F – and bake 15 minutes longer

Enjoy with your favorite gravy and a nice side salad

Happy Saturday!
