Stuffed Mushrooms

Make these Stuffed Mushrooms for an appetizer, a side dish, or just for grazing…Enjoy any time!


28-30 (2 ½ inch diameter) Large White Mushrooms, stemmed

1 Pkg (3 ounces) Cream Cheese, softened

¼ Pound Ground Italian Sausage

Olive Oil

Bread Crumbs

Sea Salt and Freshly Ground Black Pepper, about a pinch or so of each

FIRST Brown the sausage and drain the fat

SECOND Mix the sausage with the softened cream cheese, salt and pepper

THIRD Drizzle a large baking sheet with 1 Tbsp Olive Oil, to coat

FOURTH Spoon the filling into the mushroom cavities and arrange on the baking sheet, cavity side up

FIFTH Sprinkle each filled mushroom with bread crumbs

SIXTH Bake until the mushrooms are tender and the filling is heated through and golden on top, about 25 minutes at 400 F
